Accessibility statement
Reference standard
We aim for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This standard also underpins the European Web Accessibility Directive and the European Accessibility Act.
What we have put in place
- Colour contrasts meeting level AA for all text, buttons and labels.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a "Skip to main content" link and a visible focus indicator.
- Semantic structure: a single main heading per page, a consistent heading hierarchy and landmarks (header, main content, footer).
- Alternative text on informative images; purely decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- Silent background video, with a pause button and automatic stop if your system requests reduced motion.
- Sign-up form with visible labels, required fields flagged and autofill support.
- Clickable areas of at least 44 x 44 pixels on mobile.
- Content written in plain language, with the page language declared for screen readers.
Known limitations
- The newsletter sign-up form is hosted by Mailchimp: confirmation opens in a new tab, on a page whose accessibility we do not fully control.
- Our partners' websites, accessible via our external links, fall under their own accessibility statement.
- The site is currently available in French only; Dutch and English versions are being considered.
Assessment method
Each page was tested with an automated audit tool (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules), complemented by a manual review: keyboard navigation, heading structure, alternative text, contrasts and animation behaviour.
